Cheating

Question :

I gave a fake currency note to a shop which was given to me and I wasn’t aware of it. I feel embarrassed to go back to tell them the truth and give them a real one. What can I do or do I have any options?

Answer :

There is no embarrassment in doing so. You should go back and explain your position so people can realize the morality of Islam that guides the believers not to cheat and Almighty Allah shall reward you if you intend to give a good picture for Islam and express its high values.
